HI TRAVEL BUDDIES,

 

Bungoma Fund Drive

Let’s build that 6th grade classroom and help with supplies for the students.  Attached is a brochure that Richa Sharma created for us to request donations for this important cause.  We decided at the August 25th meeting that if each member could raise $187.50 we would reach our goal of $3000 to send to Bungoma to start purchasing the materials for construction.  We have $350 dollars so far so we are on our way.  The money needs to be wired in October so please do your part and get your donations to us.  Make checks payable to Leadership & Renewal Outfitters and put Kenya in the memo section.  Thanks

 

We need your responses to the two questions

At the August 25th meeting travelers were asked two very important questions in preparation for our trip.  If you didn’t get a chance to respond to these two questions, please email us your responses.  It’s important so please send your responses.

 

Kenyan Friends

Attached is a roster of our Kenyan friends that attended the August 25th meeting.  Feel free to continue to communicate with them with any questions you may have.  Also attached is a roster of everyone traveling on both trips so you may communicate with each other. 

 

Volunteer Profiles and Waiver Forms

Everyone traveling needs to complete the Volunteer Profile and Waiver Forms.  I am attaching the form for those who have not completed it.  Please complete it and get it to me as soon as possible. 

 

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance – It is highly advisable that you consider purchasing the travel insurance recommended on the form.  The cost is $124 for one person.  The number is on the form to enroll.
